About the event
The event will be a showcase of artwork from local elementary and middle school students. They were asked to create art based on the prompts “what is your favorite place in nature?” and “why do you love it?” We will display the students’ art, feature speakers, and give more information about local outdoor spaces and organizations. We hope this event will bring the community together, raise awareness of our local environment and the dangers it faces, and inspire more young people to be interested in the outdoors.
